I've been riding my COPPERHEAD EVO AM 1 750 for about two years. Overall, a very good bike for a great price.
It's a long bike, which has advantages, but makes it trickier to weave through tight turns.
It's heavy, like all ebikes. That weight and the 29" front wheel make it a breeze to power over obstacles rather than trying to wheelie over them.
The mullet setup 29" front/27.5" rear has size/fit advantages, especially for us shorter riders.
I bought aftermarket tires that better suited my local terrain.
The battery capacity is huge. I get several 2+ hour mountain bike rides per charge.
The motor is not silent but the noise is not bothersome.
Worth the price.
Bought the Bulls Bike Copperhead Evo HD 750 Diamond and it's a solid bike for the price. I enjoy riding it and it handles well overall. No major issues after regular use.
The front suspension works great. It's a hardtail so the ride gets a bit rough on bumpy trails, but that's exactly what you'd expect with no rear shock. For $2000 it's good value.
Only real downside: I picked up a kickstand separately that didn't fit this frame at all, so now I've got a useless kickstand. Minor annoyance, but the bike itself is reliable and does what I need.
Congrats on the new ride.
Give us a call and we can set you up with a kickstand.
I love my Crosslight S bulls bike. It rides very smoothly- even without the power. Very comfortable bike. Well balanced High end components. Great commuter bike.
Thanks for the review!
Enjoy the ride Lisa.
I was skeptic of buying this bite from online at first but the more digging into the company I found that they were a legit company I ordered the bike and it shipped to the dealer they assembled it and after picking it up and riding it for 30 miles it's been a blast great bike suspensions awesome long battery life highly recommend.
Oi! Bit the bullet at 53, being a die hard +50 mile a week mountain biker in Tahoe for the last 30+ years and losing some uphill motivation and gusto the last two years.
This bike RIIIIIPS!!!! Really really like the how the fork dials up and runs, a little more flex than a 20mm axle Fox 36 when straight out mobbing. The rear shock is pretty smooth and locks out near fully with a decent platform for climbs, likely keeping it.on there. Well appointed with XT components and tenacious Schwalbe tires f/r that hook up! Feel like I stole this bike at the sale price and slapping a 160mm Fox 38 up front with the money saved. Literally rides like my older S-brand 26" Enduro that I absolutely cherished and spanked to death. Oh yeah, it goes up real nice and the range is insane!
Great bike, feels really smooth. Love the bosch app. Would like to get a full suspendion for the price tough.
This replaced a lost cover. Fit well and functioned much better that the original cover!
So glad we got you sorted out. Happy riding!
I love my bulls bikes. I have 2.
However, it’s time for the MGU version to be dominant. I’m tired of spending hundreds of dollars on derailleur repairs.
As far as the hanger is concerned.
I’m a manufacturing engineer and cnc programmer and machinist. $45. For this part is rediculous. Hence the necessity for MGU drivelines.
There are a couple of minor issues with this bicycle. One is that the pedal clearance from the ground is quite low, so when pedaling while turning, the lower pedal hits the ground. Also, when shifting gears, it makes a loud noise. However, overall, it’s a good bicycle.
The Urban Evo 10 is ultimate e-bike for everyday riding. I purchased mine just over 5 years ago. I have ridden it no matter what the weather was, rain or shine. I am still with the original battery and can still achieve 40-50 miles with Eco. The furthest I have taken on a single charge is about 77 miles. The Bosch mid drive motor will handle any hill.
It's very stable and exhilarating when riding at 28mph and keeping up with the flow of traffic is a cinch. Most times I am quicker getting across LA than my colleagues driving their cars\pickups.
For service you can expect to change the chain, rear cassette, tires and brake pads. This Bosch motor just works perfectly, I have never had worries regarding the electrical part of this bike.
I have now just over 53000 miles and climbing.
Do I recommend this e-bike? Absolutely YES.
This is a great bike for our local bike paths and dirt roads. It can even handle single track. Comfortable riding position for long rides.
It really is the jack of all trades. So glad you're enjoying the ride.
We swapped out the seat to a Fox dropper post, forks to a Fox 34 float, and tires to schwalbe magic Mary’s. Was told my warranty is cancelled after the work was done. Not happy about that but that, but bikes is 10 times more useable now so I’ll take the gamble. If Bulls carried these features over to the wave hd which is exactly what’s on their other mtb’s it’d be a slam dunk out of the box! This is proving to be a great trail maintenance rig.
Kyle, killer build. We use the HD for trail maintenance days too! Regardingyour parts swap: If the original fork length is consistent with the current (swapped) length, then your warranty is still fully intact. For us, It's about ensuring the original design of the HD is carried through. In this particular case, head tube angle. You're always welcome to reach out to us directly for further clarification. Happy riding!
You will have a hard time finding a better deal in electric hard tail mountain bike category. Copperhead evo hd 750 has a top of the line Bosh performance line CX motor accompanied with 750 kw battery. Bike rides great ,smooth , no rattles , it’s very versatile, you can ride it on almost any terrain except the very challenging trails , that require the full suspension .The bike is a little bit heavier then the top of the line e mtb’s , but not by much and trust me , you won’t feel it if you are not an elite rider . I can’t recommend enough this bike to anyone looking for an e mtb !! Bulls bikes running a huge sale on a few models , don’t miss the opportunity before they gone .
I went from hardly leaving the house to purchasing one of these as my first proper bike in May of 2025 and rode 500 miles by September. The amount of fun to be had on these bikes is endless and worth every penny. This bike changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful to own one! 5'9 and 210-220 lbs and the Medium frame is perfect sizing.
Hayden,
We are so stoked to be going on those rides with you!
The Copperhead AM 3 is a killer all mountain rig that you can shred now and grow with.
Have the most fun ever!
44cm bike for a 5'9 guy. Let me start with saying customer service is top notch with bulls.
The good: good value bike, Bosch motor is great, battery life is great, components are ok. I quickly replaced several parts to make it better for me. Choice of deore is ok, would have rathered slx. I would put it on the lower end of a bike build. Money you spend is mostly motor and battery.
The bad: rear axle is 9mm qr... Non boost spacing... Old tech when it comes to modern trail bikes. Finish to my bike had way too long in cables and housing. Shifting with deore should be smooth but there is a housing pinch somewhere in the frame, will have to investigate and fix.
The ugly: SP connect headset cap was utterly destroyed by whoever finished the bike, albeit it is plastic. Headset spacer (plastic) was also split and destroyed, bolts (stem mostly) and other parts were not torqued to spec, housing on Bosch motor not attached correctly. The headset was improperly lubed and several of the plastic parts were in questionable condition. I have fixed and reinstalled... Should be using sealed bearings on a bike like this.
Verdict:
I'm keeping it but have some nagging questions... Like who put my bike together and who uses a 9mm qr skewer on a trail/mtb frame anymore? All in all its a good bike, just make sure you go over it before you take it out on the trail or road...
I fell in love with the way this bike performed on my first ride. I had to name her Betty!! it was easy to apply the assist on the fly, and she climbs like a goat. I had to show her off to my coworkers and told them if they are looking to buy an ebike, look no further.
We are so glad Betty found a forever home. Happy trails you two.
We searched everywhere trying to find an e-bike that actually fit my wife’s stature, and the BULLS Aminga was miles above everything else we tried. The frame geometry, ride comfort, and build quality are all outstanding — it feels like it was made just for her.
She absolutely loves it. The handling is smooth, the motor assistance feels natural, and the overall design is both stylish and practical. After testing so many options that were either too bulky, too tall, or way overpriced, this bike hit the sweet spot of comfort, performance, and affordability.
If you’re looking for a well-built e-mountain bike that fits smaller riders without compromise, the Aminga is a fantastic choice.
Jesse,
We are so happy to hear that the Aminga was the right choice for your needs.
For smaller riders wanting a true all mountain experience, the Aminga really is an awesome bike. Enjoy!
Love my new bike. Wish my seat went just a bit higher. I'm 5'7, and the frame I selected said it would fit my height. Definitely needed a kick stand. So, if you're considering this bike, get the kick stand at the same time, don't wait. It's tough to park your bike without one, even with the appropriate bike racks at home and in and around your town. The color blue is awesome. Have received so many compliments. My next purchase will need to be a light for safety.
Troy, We are super happy that you're happy. See you on the trail!
I've been riding Bulls EV bikes since 2017, and when the motor finally blew after 8 years and thousands of miles, Bulls swap policy was outstanding. I picked up the ICONIC EVO 2 SPEED on their program and its been flawless and perfect, just like my previous Bulls EV. This company stands behind their products 100% and should be congratulated for being so good. One word of advice, I had to kind of bypass the bike company that sold me the Bulls Bike and requested to communicate directly with Bulls. There wasn't enough money in the swap for the bike company. My point is if you get directly in touch with the Bulls folks, you will be treated really well!!! Love them and their bikes.
Since approaching 75, these hills that I have known for the last 20+ years have become a surprising challenge. Arthur -itis sometimes is unwelcome. I thought the hills were supposed to be the same height. The usual 40-50 miles now became 20-30. Yes, I agree with the tech evaluation in previous post, lots to add to make the Desert Falcon EVO your own. The quality is excellent. The weight is equal or better than comparable e-bikes. I searched for an electric bike for years. The price and quality just didn’t add up until now. It is aTime Machine. It becomes a vehicle that gets you out on the road or gravel where you began 20+ years ago with a 500 Wh battery (standard!-find that elsewhere!), a Bosch motor (leader in the industry!), and electronic shifting. The bike talks to you, are you ready to go? The Falcon EVO is ready to go when you are. It is the satisfaction to know that I still can get out there on the road with confidence, continuing the journey.
Jim,
We are so happy that you're out there riding.
We appreciate the kind words.
Keep turning those pedals on the Desert Falcon, and it'll keep taking you on adventures.
