Since approaching 75, these hills that I have known for the last 20+ years have become a surprising challenge. Arthur -itis sometimes is unwelcome. I thought the hills were supposed to be the same height. The usual 40-50 miles now became 20-30. Yes, I agree with the tech evaluation in previous post, lots to add to make the Desert Falcon EVO your own. The quality is excellent. The weight is equal or better than comparable e-bikes. I searched for an electric bike for years. The price and quality just didn’t add up until now. It is aTime Machine. It becomes a vehicle that gets you out on the road or gravel where you began 20+ years ago with a 500 Wh battery (standard!-find that elsewhere!), a Bosch motor (leader in the industry!), and electronic shifting. The bike talks to you, are you ready to go? The Falcon EVO is ready to go when you are. It is the satisfaction to know that I still can get out there on the road with confidence, continuing the journey.

Bulls was not a common brand for me so I did my research. I’ve looked at a few other e-allroad and e-gravel bikes out there and decided on the Desert Falcon for a few reasons. Number one, the Bosch drivetrain is one I’ve experienced in other ebikes I’ve owned. I like the user interface, quality, and reliability of the system. Two, an experienced user of Di2 and GRX non Di2 groups, I knew this would be a solid drive system and group combination. Last, the 500 Wh battery provides a nice range. After receiving the bike and building the bike, I quickly realized Bulls makes a quality product.
I did a few mods to make this more of a gravel grinder and added a bit of comfort, as well.
I swapped the integrated FSA stem for an 80mm length, installed Shimano Pro gravel handlebars in 46cm width, a set of carbon tubeless ready wheels, 42c gravel tires (yes they fit), 165mm FSA crank arms, a 3D printed saddle, and a bar-end charger port for the Di2 system.
This bike turned out to be exactly what I’ve been looking for in e-gravel machine. I couldn't be happier.
